How do astrology / tarot / esoteric arts play a role in your life?
Astrology has never played a particularly big role in my life, but when I do pay attention it often resonates. I don’t live by it by any means, but when I’m feeling a bit lost I tune in a little more.
What limiting beliefs / blocks have you worked through to get where you are today? Where do you still want to go?
I think I was guilty of being a people pleaser. I would always try and tune into what I thought others might need or want. As I get older I just want to be more and more myself.
Why do you think creative exploration and expansion are important in today’s world?
Creative exploration is one of the greatest gifts that comes with the human experience. I think it’s the most direct way we can engage, respond and try to make sense in the mystery of it all. Not to want to quote from ‘Cosmos’ for Cosmic Wine but Carl Sagan said, “We are a way for the cosmos to know itself”
What’s your approach to natural wine? Why do you love it? Do you have any rituals?
Wine is one of those human creations that represents an interesting dialogue between nature and humans. I love how people take a natural thing and play with these little variables to create something unique. Thats what I like about dough and fermentation too. Natural wine uses the least interference with the natural process but still creates such a varied results depending on the weather and the fruit and the time taken. I love knowing where what I’m drinking is from and what variables were considered in creating it.
How do you nurture balance in your life? Any tips / tricks on how to enjoy yourself and stay grounded?
Decide on the lifestyle you want and make all decisions around that.
What’s filling your cup this season?
The ocean
Who and what is inspiring you right now?
Always my brothers and what they create. My brother is making sculptures and jewelry to raise awareness for the highly endangered Vaquita. And I get to create with my other brother often.
Dream dinner party guests – dead or alive.
My grandparents, Davinci and Jesus
Where’s your happy place?
The ocean (again)
What’s the best advice you’d give your younger self?
Embrace change, soak up every moment, the good and the bad. Be yourself!
